Chicken wings tossed in habanero-spiked KC Masterpiece® BBQ sauce. Cool off the heat by serving Hidden Valley® Original Ranch® sauce on the side.
1½ pounds chicken wings
1½ cups KC Masterpiece® Original Barbecue Sauce
1 habanero pepper, seeded and finely diced
Hidden Valley® Original Ranch® Dressing, Dip & Sauce Mix, prepared as dressing for dipping
Preheat oven to 400°F.
Skin and clean the chicken wings, removing any extra fat or tendons; place in a medium-size bowl and set aside.
In a small saucepan, combine the KC Masterpiece® Original Barbecue Sauce and habanero pepper and warm over medium heat for 2 to 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat.
Add 1/2 cup of the sauce to the chicken wings and toss to coat.
Lightly spray a baking rack with cooking spray and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Place the wings on the baking rack and bake in the oven for 30 minutes, basting occasionally with additional barbecue sauce.
Raise the heat to 450˚F and bake for 5 more minutes or until caramelized. Remove and serve with additional barbecue sauce and Hidden Valley® Original Ranch® dressing for dipping.
